Calgary coffee shop “The Purple Perk” mocked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday by transforming the exterior of the building into a “campaign headquarters” that included a sign in front with a picture of Trudeau and the caption “April’s Fool”.
Pictures of the elaborate prank showed up on Reddit and not everyone was thrilled with the idea.
“I’m sure they will lose some
business in that neighbourhood…” user Moosewish commented.
“Wow this is in such poor taste especially in this riding which is liberal and ndp,” Fourcheesecakes wrote.
But some users were certainly supportive. “Love seeing all the crybabies get riled up,” Robotnickx replied.
