Good news, baseball fans. The cost of beer at Blue Jays games is going to change drastically – and for the better. The upcoming season will see beer prices as low as $5.
Rogers Centre’s executive vice-president of business operations, Andrew Miller announced the new promotion on Tuesday. He says that each level of the stadium will have a stand where everything is $5.
This is fantastic to see, considering the typical cost for a tallboy at a game is around $12.
Miller says they are trying to find ways that “fans, as they’ve expressed to us, can get more value when they’re at the Rogers Centre.”
It’s not yet clear what beers will be available for the low price.
Additionally, they plan to have six $1 hotdog nights throughout the season. The first of which will be April 2 when the Jays take on the Orioles.
