Police at a Maryland university want to find a mother who prowled the campus looking for a date for her son.
Global News reports that the Towson University Police Department is investigating a series of incidents in which students were asked by a woman if they were interested in dating her son.
The incidents reportedly took place in the campus library and arts building where the woman would show students a photo of her son on her mobile phone and asked if they would date him.
While the woman is not being sought on a criminal matter, campus police don’t want this happening again.
“This incident advisory is being provided in order to make the TU Community aware of an incident on campus that may cause concern,” the department said in a statement. “This advisory is intended to heighten awareness and inform the community of incidents that may impact their safety and security.”
“If anyone knows the person shown here or is approached by her the police ask that you call… immediately,” police said.
