Ontario Premier Doug Ford echoed the words of Conservative leader Andrew Scheer, warning voters that if Justin Trudeau is reelected as prime minister, their taxes are going to skyrocket.
“The voters are going to have to decide, do you want to pay more day-in and day-out? Do you want – you know, every time you go to the gas pumps, do you want to pay more? Your home heating bills, do you want to pay more? The answer is overwhelmingly no,” Ford said.
In 2019, Canadians will make an important choice.
Do they want @JustinTrudeau‘s carbon tax that will kill jobs and make everything more expensive?
From the Ontarians and people across the country that I’ve spoken to, the answer is overwhelmingly no. pic.twitter.com/BDztxewIGv

Ford upped the ante and pushed the point home that everything you buy is going to go up in price because of the carbon tax. “If you vote for Justin Trudeau, your taxes are going up, your gas prices are going up, every item you buy in the store is going up and we won’t be able to compete in the other areas. We’re going to lose jobs.”
“You know, companies have a choice nowadays. They’re either going to open up in one of the provinces and thrive or they’re just going to go down south,” the premier added.
What do you think? Do you agree with Doug Ford?
