Toronto police have arrested and charged a 20-year-old man who drove his car into a Porsche dealership because he was “having a bad day” and just broke up with his girlfriend.
Police say they got a call at 11 PM Monday that someone had driven a car through the window of a dealership on Parliament and Front streets.
Officers on the scene discovered the car that had driven through the front window of the dealership and the driver, who was in the process of vandalizing cars inside.
When questioned, the 20-year-old told officers he was having a bad day because of a breakup with his girlfriend and decided to crash into the dealership. He has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, mischief over $5000 and numerous Highway Traffic Act offences.
The damage to the window is around $15,000 to $20,000 and the damage to vehicles inside the dealership are valued at $50,000 to $70,000.
Lucky for the man, no one was injured because of his “bad day”.
