Just when you thought the weather was getting better, here comes yet another burst of snow.
So far, light snow is expected through Saturday morning, but there could be much heavier amounts in the belt regions.
As Weather Network meteorologist Tyler Hamilton reports, “a healthy swath of snow is forecast for parts of southern Ontario later Friday.”
“The city of London for example, will go from thunderstorms on Thursday to a wet snow on Friday night,” he added.
While 2-5 cm of snow is projected, some areas could be seeing 5-8 cm as this is a lake-effect snow event.
“Later next week, milder air will make a return to kick off the official start to spring with an even milder trend expected for the first half of April,” the Weather Network says.
