A single Canadian town will be hosting The Rolling Stones on Canada Day weekend and it’s probably not a city you’re thinking of.
On June 29, the band will be playing at the outdoor Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario. According to CTV, the sprawling field space about 130 kilometres north of Toronto.
Republic Live, the concert organizer, says it expects close to 70,000 fans to attend. Tickets will be going on sale Friday for $119.50 through Ticketmaster and VIP packages are priced at $329.50.
The last time The Stones played in Canada was four years ago at a Quebec City festival.
